My paintings are in the permanent collection of the Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art.  My work is influenced by the world around me and the movements of Expressionism and Abstraction, as well as artists that I have admired such as Odilon Redon in particular. Through the process of creating, these works become an ever-changing thought until they become a statement of their own, which I call Referential Abstraction.  The return to making art for me has been a rewarding and challenging path. For most of my working career I was a visual merchandiser and window designer using my art and design background I created enticing and artistic environments.
